The Treasure Island Beach Trail winds along approx. 1 mile of beach front behind what was in the 50's called the Treasure Island Miracle Mile. The Miracle Mile was a stretch of beach that was fronted by the latest and most modern accommodations available at the time in Florida. One of the motels on the Treasure Island Beach Trail is the Best Western Sea Castle Suites.

While the accommodations have changed such as the new Marriott , the Treasure Island Beach Trail still navigates the same sand.

The Treasure Island Trail runs roughly from 104th Ave.on the south to around 119th Ave. on the north end. The total distance is about a mile.

The Trail is a the width of two standard American sidewalks, made of concrete, providing the perfect surface to walk, jog, skate, bike, skateboard and even ride a Segway.

The Trail passes behind motels, condos, bars, playgrounds, volleyball courts and numerous openings to the beach.

During the week the trail is the perfect place for a quiet walk while the weekends bring out the crowds especially in the area's of the three beach bars that line the Trail.

Whether you are visiting or live on Treasure Island, you will soon find the Trail becomes an important part of your life.

Morning strolls on the quiet walkway become habit forming.

Free from traffic worries you can truly enjoy the wonder of a tropical beach.
